Life Story Celebrant

Champion of Change

Curator of Conversations

A celebrant who listens like a coach with the presence of a broadcaster, so that life's most meaningful moments are heard, held and honoured.

Heard.

Held.

Honoured.

At life's most meaningful moments, whether joyful, reflective or challenging - people often want the same simple thing, to be heard.

This belief sits at the heart of everything I do.

Through ceremonies, coaching conversations, radio interviews and storytelling, I create spaces where people can feel heard, held and honoured in the moments that shape their lives.

Three ways we can work together

Creating deeply personal ceremonies that honour life's most meaningful moments - from weddings and naming ceremonies to funerals and life transitions.

Coaching individuals navigating transition, rediscovering confidence and creating the next chapter of their lives with clarity, strength and purpose.

As a radio presenter and interviewer, I have spent years drawing out extraordinary stories from people across many walks of life.

A Living Story Archive

Some moments deserve more than photographs.

Through guided audio conversations, I help individuals and families capture memories, reflections and life stories in their own voice - creating a living archive that can be treasured for generations.

These recordings can capture:

● a couple reflecting before their wedding

● parents sharing hopes for a new baby

● family stories and memories

● reflections on a life well lived

● messages for future generations

Because sometimes the most precious legacy we leave behind is simply our own story in our own words.

  • “On such a difficult day, you helped create a space that felt both comforting and personal. Your words and the way you told Bob’s story captured so much of who he was, and that brought us real comfort.

It was especially meaningful to see how you wove together the memories and tributes so naturally. It felt like a genuine reflection of his life and the love surrounding him.

Thank you again for everything you did for our family.”

    Mandy and Ellen

  • “The thanks should be from us, you did a very professional job in capturing my dad and his idiosyncrasies, everyone said how appropriate the service was and whether it was luck or good fortune being paired with you made the loss easier because I didn’t feel pressurised into saying the things that should have been expected rather than experienced.

It was a lovely service and the setting was just beautiful all in all a memorable day for the right reasons.”

    Sarah

  • The service was perfect in every way and the part you played in it… you were fantastic. We had such lovely feedback on the service with some people saying that’s how they would like their own funerals to be. Thank you again.

    J, S and T

  • Thank you on behalf of all of us, these things are never easy, but your guidance alleviated a lot of stress, and allowed us more time to grieve and remember Dad as a family.

    White Family

  • Thank you for guiding us through the build up to the funeral and indeed conducting a lovely service. We all shared many memories of dad at the wake afterwards and it was a lovely day.

    Jon and Family

  • Hey Sheila, Thanks so much for stepping in so last minute! While we had absolutely no idea what Becky would have wanted, I think we did her proud and it was a beautiful service full of tears but also celebration - it was amazing to see how many lives she touched!

    LR and family

  • "Sheila was the celebrant for my mum's funeral service and wrote a heartfelt eulogy. Sheila's calm guidance helped us through a very difficult day"

    - Caroline M

  • Thank you for all your efforts last week and on Tuesday. It is such a skill to be able to conduct a service with only brief notes about a person, but you were able to add a personal touch and lead a service that was very fitting for John.
